About ReisePlanerEU

ReisePlanerEU was created in 2020 by a group of frequent travelers who were frustrated by generic travel advice that never quite matched reality. We wanted a resource that answered the practical questions — how to actually book a split-ticket train journey, which border crossings have the longest waits, and whether that Instagram-famous village is worth the detour.

We are a fully independent publication. We do not accept sponsored trips, affiliate commissions from booking platforms, or payments for coverage. When we recommend a hotel, route, or restaurant, it is because we genuinely believe it offers good value.

Our focus is mainland Europe, with particular depth in Central Europe, Scandinavia, and the Mediterranean. We publish detailed itineraries, budget breakdowns, transportation guides, and seasonal travel calendars to help you make the most of your time and money.
